What emotions and feelings does the rain stir within your soul? Do you love it or not? If yes, then why? If not, then why not?
I stretch out my hands, palms to the dark, pouring clouds.
Cold droplets send a jolt through warm veins,
Relief washing over the scorching surroundings,
Thunder follows lightning, turning night to day.
Leaves sway with the wind’s gentle flow,
Each droplet’s descent, a soothing melody,
Peaceful sounds gracing the listening soul.
The earthy scent of rain on soil, so refreshing.
A wave of calm to the mind,
Captured in the gallery of my eyes—
An ethereal scene, as if clouds
Are trying to touch the earth, loving through rain.
Standing on my balcony, I marvel
at how rain reflects our own emotions.
When sadness grips, the clouds seem to mock,
Their tears echoing our sorrow, as if in jest.
In heartbreak, the rain becomes a companion,
Weeping with us in silent, shared grief.
Yet, when in love, the clouds shower blessings,
Filling the world with joy and sweet serenity.
So much more we feel in each drop’s fall,
Rain, a mirror to our hearts, in its endless dance.
I don’t know what makes this rain so beautiful,
When everything glistens under street lamps' light,
Once stagnant beings seem to come alive,
The magic of the moment, so special and bright.
Whatever it is, it lifts me beyond,
To a realm where my spirit can freely soar,
In the gentle embrace of the night-time rain,
I find a magic I can’t ignore.
